Shenandoah Community Health is pleased to welcome Manish Shah, M.D., FACOG, Obstetrics/Gynecology, to our team. He will join the clinical staff of SCH Women’s Health on 1330 Amherst Street in Winchester.
Dr. Shah received his medical degree from SMT N.H.L. Municipal Medical College, Ahmedabad, India and completed his residency at Summa Health System in Akron, Ohio. After completing his residency, Dr. Shah accomplished additional training in high-risk pregnancy with a leading perinatology group at Inova Fairfax hospital in Falls Church, Virginia for two years. He is certified with American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology and brings with him twenty-one years of practice experience in the OB/GYN field.
Dr. Shah has held two academic appointments, one as a Clinical Affiliate at the Decker School of Nursing Graduate Program at the State University of New York at Binghamton; and the other as Assistant Clinical Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences. He has contributed to ten publications providing expertise on a variety of women’s health topics. Additionally, Dr. Shah has been recognized by the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists with the “Special Excellence In Endoscopic Procedures” award and is a member of The American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
