Shenandoah Community Health is pleased to welcome Susan “Dee” Loftis, LICSW, Psychotherapist, to our team. She will join the clinical staff of SCH Behavioral Health on 99 Tavern Road in Martinsburg.
Ms. Loftis received her Master of Social Work degree from University of Maryland at Baltimore and brings with her over 35 years of clinical, behavioral health experience. While part of the behavioral health team at SCH, Ms. Loftis will be servicing adults and children through the primary care department in what is called a Primary Care Behavioral Health (PCBH) model of care. This is an approach that is simultaneously co-located, collaborative, and integrated within the primary care setting. The goal of PCBH is to improve and promote overall health within the general population by providing services that compliment the goals of primary care and manage acute episodes of mental illness. Additionally, the PCBH model promotes early intervention, greatly increases access to care and helps reduce stigma for people seeking mental healthcare and their families.
Please join us in welcoming Ms. Loftis to Shenandoah Community Health. For more information on our Behavioral Health Services, visit www.shencommhealth.com or call 304.263.4999 to schedule an appointment.
