Shenandoah Community Health is pleased to welcome Dr. Steven Choi, Psychiatrist, to their team. He will join the clinical staff of SCH Behavioral Health on 99 Tavern Road in Martinsburg.
Dr. Choi brings over ten years of clinical experience in psychiatry and is proficient in tele psychiatry— the delivery of psychiatric assessment and treatment via telecommunications technology. He received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Nova Southeastern College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his residency at Walter Reed Army Medical Center/National Capital Consortium. Dr. Choi is board certified with the American Board of Psychiatry & Neurology and holds a certification to prescribe Suboxone. Additionally, he is a member of the American Psychiatric Association and has conducted research in assessing compliance and pain reports of fibromyalgia, osteoarthritis, and ankylosing spondylitis patients.
